God calls us out into the deep, in the middle of the ocean where there is no land in sight. This is the most precious place to be with Him - God does amazing things when we trust Him. I have learned to keep walking, keep moving forward, to trust that when I step out deeper, He provides the stone for me to walk on. And most of all, that He didn’t bring me this far just to leave me. Even in my mess-ups, in my failures, in my disappointments, in my struggles, through the storm—all of it, I can stand boldly because He promised that overwhelming victory is ours and that we are more than conquerors.
What does it mean to be a conqueror? It doesn’t mean that you’ll never go through anything. It doesn’t mean that you’ll never face giants. In order to be a conqueror, something has to be conquered. What’s so great about God is that He promised that we were, in fact, MORE than conquerors. Being a conqueror is in your grasp. You will not be overcome by your trials. So even though you stumble and fall—you’re still a conqueror. Sometimes the battle is won outright, instantaneous conquering. Sometimes the battle is long, and sometimes the battle is daily—you are YET still a conquer. Victory is always ours. We are conquerors.
